We use a vast array of different props to bring stories to life and enhance childrens imaginations. These props stimulate movement, develop fine and gross motor skills as we use them to act out parts of the story. 

A love of reading is nurtured in our classes, which is a vital skill for future development. We cover a range of different stories from all time favourites like The Gruffalo and classic fairy tales such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears . 

A range of activites are used through out the class which provide opportunites for little ones to socilasie together and build their communication skills. 

Singing provides communication opportunties for you and your little ones, which is why songs are incorporated in all our classes.

Sign langauge is an extremly beneficial communication tool for you and your little one. Each week you will learn and varirty of different signs which connect to the stories we are reading togther. 

Zip is in charge of looking after the book we are bringing to life each week. the children take huge delight in finding him tucked away inside the story sack and he is used through out class to interact and play with. 

Imagination is a big word for pretending, and to wake up our imaginations we pretend to sprinkle oursleves with imagination dust! This is how we start each class, along with our welcome song and signing hello to everyone. 

The repetition allows our little ones to settle in, become familiar with the structure of the class and learn each other's names.
